Our 7,200 sq ft headquarters is thoughtfully designed – by us, for us – to be the most well equipped digital media agency office in Georgia.  Featuring 5 state-of-the-art Post Production Suites with in-wall sound dampening and Fiber server connectivity, a 350 sq ft creative meeting room (equipped with a regulation size Ping Pong conference table), 5 private offices, a marketing den, fully-stocked kitchen, and a large “family room”. We’ve also got great schools, amazing parks, a massive lake for water-sports, easy parking, and best of all NO TRAFFIC.

Head of Production (In Office)

Full Time | In Office

Vision: 

Responsible for overseeing the entire production process of creative assets and campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of both creative and operational aspects of  digital media marketing, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

You’re a seasoned Head of Production. You have the leadership skills to manage a team and you delegate well. You love running the show and you’re as decisive as Susan Wojcicki. You have the skill set to lead a team with wisdom, with servanthood, and with content innovation at the forefront of mind. You have leadership skills like a five star President and you know how to run a meeting, a crew, and a budget. You have an uncanny ability to grasp the big picture and are naturally gifted at bringing a story to life. You have a passion for creating digital art that creates  Collaborating with a team energizes you.

What You Are Going To Do:

  1. Act as a primary point of contact for clients during production, ensuring their needs and feedback are effectively communicated to the production team.
  2. Oversee the end-to-end production process, from concept to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
    1. Manage all production and post production vendors and employees. This includes onboarding, training, and managing production schedules. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and deadlines are met.
    2. Collaborate with Director of Operations to manage and mentor teams across various departments, including production, post-production, logistics, and administration, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    3. Communicate with Creative Directors, Producers, Production Managers, and Director of Post Production to manage and adjust deadlines as necessary. Always push for delivering projects ahead of provided deadlines to clients.
    4. Act as the key point of contact for issues arising across Production, escalating issues and recommendations to Remedy’s leadership team as needed. 
    5. Review and approve contracts, ensuring our usage language matches Client’s SOW, expectations and any known media-plans within scope. Ensure we are putting our best foot forward in terms of any pre-negotiated rates or terms. 
    6. Ensure any sensitive details around the project and nature of production are clearly articulated and outlined to crew.
  1. Collaborate with the Creative Director and manage creative output for all external and internal projects.
    1. Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop a concept and budget for all qualified leads. Ensure at least 1 budget option aligns with the desired budget of the client.  
    2. Ensure each project is aligned creatively while maximizing profit and efficiently managing COSP and GOGs for projects.
  1. Have a weekly pulse on current and future creative trends by reading industry magazines AdAge, Cinematographer, etc, watching videos on YouTube, Vimeo, iSpot, following along with Social, Product and Ad Trends of TikTok, IG, Facebook.
  2. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and quality of production workflows.
    1. Strategically allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality deliverables.
      1. Lead and guide the team’s decisions regarding the appropriate gear, technology, cameras, lenses, crew, creative execution, etc for projects.
    2. Establish a feedback loop within the production team and with other departments to continuously improve workflows, communication, and creative output.

 

What You Really Want To Know: 

We’re looking for someone ready to work in office in Buford, GA. Are you in a big city currently? A lot of us were too, so we understand the upside. But the truth is, we’ve got many of the same perks here in Buford: restaurants, bars, art, culture, check. We just moved to our own space as well. The space has a drive-in gear room, glass conference room, lounge, kitchen, and to top it off an 8,000 sq ft studio space with the best of the best technology; including high-speed cameras, cinema robot, and virtual production studio on site. We’ve also got great schools, amazing parks, a massive lake for leisure and water-sports, a nationally known farmers’ market, great parking, and best of all NO TRAFFIC.

Who We Are:

We are a Digital Media Agency servicing our clients in Video Production and Photography. We create compelling stories ALL over the world.  We’ve traveled and shot in 60+ cities in the last 14 years for brands like UBER, Google, Chick-fil-A, The Home Depot, Atlanta Braves, and Coca-Cola. These pieces include brand, commercial, social, corporate, industrial and action sports story telling. We own and operate the industry’s best equipment; including, an XR LED wall, SISU C20 cinema robot arm, Canon Cinema Cameras, Phantom Flex 4k and Miro, Apple Computers, Adobe CC, Server Hard Drive Sharing with 5 Editing Suites. We work hard, but love to play hard. You have the ability to handle sophisticated workflows, organization, and can self-manage assigned projects. You are comfortable in front of mass amounts of media because you see the potential video that lies before you. You are a self-starter and ambitious. You have a desire to collaborate and learn, while bringing your own skillset and experience to help push others around you.

 

What We Require You To Know:

4+ Years Adobe Premiere Pro

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications

Attention to to Detail

Intuitive Organizational skills are a plus

Ability to follow organizational workflows are a must

Intuitive Understanding of Vision

Instinctual Ability to Tell a Compelling Narrative

After Effects experience. Enough to create an animated lower third or an outro card

Ability to notice the error in the previous Attention to Detail line.

What You Are Going To Do:

You’ll work with a team of editors to create exceptional content for clients.

You will kick off post projects by organizing footage and pulling selects. 

You will create stories from interviews and/or story boards based on overall goals of projects. 

Take a story and turn it into an incredible video by finding/editing music and b-roll that matches the goals and vision of the project.

Finish projects by color grading, editing audio, motion graphics. Handle projects from start to finish with supervisor review sessions throughout the process. 

Don’t worry, you’ll be trained on how we do things at Remedy, and hopefully you’ll bring some new things to the table as well. Most importantly, you’ll always be learning and growing as a storyteller and editor. Whether it be from other co-workers, online tutorials, or going to conferences.
