About The Project
Precision is not reserved for one kind of pro.
It shows up in the hand of a plumber. The eye of a hunter. The focus of a tattoo artist. The split-second control of a driver holding the line at speed.
For Reliance Worldwide Corporation, Precision of a Pro was a brand piece built around the second generation of their flagship product. Not a launch announcement. Not a feature list. A follow-up campaign with a bigger job: show the product in action and connect it to the standard that separates true professionals from everyone else.
No matter what defines you as a pro, precision separates you from the rest.
The Ask
RWC needed a high-end brand commercial that could keep momentum behind a major product line without simply repeating the language of a product launch.
The piece still needed to show the tool clearly. But the goal was not to explain every feature. It was to build a world around the product, one that connected plumbing to a larger idea of skill, pressure, discipline, and precision.
That meant the concept needed range.
Different professionals. Different environments. Different kinds of pressure. One through line that made them all feel connected.
The Solution
We built the film around precision in motion.
The visual language centered on match cuts, using action, framing, and movement to connect one profession to the next. A bow fires. A car follows the same line. A plumber’s hand becomes a tattoo artist’s hand. Each cut carried the viewer forward, turning separate worlds into one continuous rhythm.
The production challenge was scale.
To tell the story properly, we needed a racetrack, a forest, a tattoo shop, and multiple plumbing environments, all inside a two-day production window. Doing that fully on location would have stretched the schedule, multiplied the variables, and left too much exposed to weather, travel, and location logistics.
So we split the world in two.
The racetrack had to be real. We found a drift track, secured all-day access, controlled the route, and brought in professional drivers to capture the speed, pressure, and precision we could not fake.
Everything else moved through virtual production.
We built 3D environments for the hunter, the tattoo artist, and multiple plumbing scenes, including the outside of a house, under a kitchen sink, and behind a wall installing a water heater. That gave us the visual range of five different locations without losing days to company moves, weather, or location limits.
The result was a commercial that felt big, controlled, and cinematic, while still staying grounded in the product and the people it was made for.
The Deliverables
REMEDY delivered a 60-second brand film and a 30-second cutdown for Reliance Worldwide Corporation.
The project included concept development, writing, casting, production, production design, wardrobe, hair and makeup, virtual production, virtual assets, editorial, sound design, music, VFX, color, finishing, title design, and photography.
The 30-second cut became one of RWC’s top-performing videos of all time, and the top-performing video on a channel reaching millions of views each month.
