Legacy Lighting Web Design Case study

THE GOAL

THE GOAL

Refresh the whole digital presence of the brand to more clearly reflect the value they bring to the table and strengthen the brand across all online channels.

Since the founding of the company in 2013, Legacy Lighting had not updated their web presence to reflect their growing brand. As a result, their website was outdated, lacked fresh messaging, and was functionally incompatible with their future brand goals. As they continued to expand into larger markets they needed a website that was both reflective of the work they were doing as well as future focused in order to continue to scale. Through capturing photo + video content, implementing the web redesign, and managing their social media, we helped unify Legacy’s digital brand presence into one cohesive experience across all of their online platforms.

2-DAY BRAND INTENSIVE

We talked strategy! As Legacy Lighting’s new marketing partner, we collaborated in-house for our 2-day brand intensive to determine a plan of action that best reflected the heartbeat of the brand as well as provide clear direction for the content shoots, social management, and web redesign.

Strategic Design + Trustworthy Partnership

The deep dive into the brand intensive provided direction for the new website redesign. We landed on an updated positioning statement and messaging as well as determined the right pages + site content that would best showcase their recent projects and service offerings. This new design advances the digital presence of their brand to more aptly compete beyond the local level and position them for strategic future growth.

When it came time for the website migration, Legacy Lighting trusted our team exclusively to successfully handle the site transfer without emails going down, sudden crashes, or losing any valuable content. This confidence that their team extended to us spoke volumes about the level of trust & partnership we seek to have with our clients.

Bare Bones to Brightly Repositioned

Legacy Lighting’s previous website was bare bones in terms of information, design, and content. Stock imagery was the primary media utilized throughout the site and copy was minimal. As a result, this project was very exciting for both us as a creative marketing partner and Legacy Lighting as a client looking to be set up for future growth and current distinction in the marketplace. We were able to capture all the content to share in their new online portfolio and curate updated messaging that reflected the tone and voice of Legacy as a brand.

CAPTURING CONTENT

CAPTURING CONTENT

VIDEO + PHOTO

For their website and social media we captured video and photo content that had a special emphasis on accentuating the lighting fixtures in the space, more so than the overall space itself. On the first shoot Legacy accompanied us to all of the locations with their clients. After seeing what we were able to capture and how we engaged with their clients on that initial shoot, Legacy instead decided to put us directly in contact with managers at each location for the rest of the shoots.

SYNOPSIS

Elevating the Brand

Through the web redesign, new photo + video content, and social media management we unified Legacy Lighting’s brand into one cohesive presentation of who they are across all online platforms. This is critical for building trust with clients starting at their very first impression, to providing clarity in the marketplace, to showcasing an accurate reflection of who Legacy Lighting is as a brand and what it would be like to work with them.
